It is pretty shabby. The steering wheel is too close to me and rather low. I think I might try making my own dash sometime, but it is not urgent.

I have a wood rim 13 or 14“ wheel unused at home. but i want a 12“ wood rim.

The one I have to go on my Phaeton is a 12" which I think is a nice size, the one on the Melos was either 9 or 10 inch!

My steering wheel is 13 inches, what was yours - it looks tiny!

Steering column does seem a bit long and low down. The steering wheel looks pretty big too, what size is it?

This was my old one, steering wheel was probably a bit too small lol

It's a good looking project, get it sorted so you know its safe, then run it through the summer before you strip it down and rebuild it. Too many strip a runner down first without getting a feel for what you have.
