This is a B type rear end.....note the lack of wheel arch extensions..

this is my old Malaga B+as spotted on Ebay after i sold it, you can see it has the same boot.

B types don't have the wheel arch flares whereas the B+  and the Malaga's do. this is because the B types were 3" narrower. the boot above has the wheel arch flares.

I believe the boot shown above was supplied for fitting of a hard top, i have yet to see a Malaga with a proper boot lid as supplied by the factory, but i have seen a couple of B+'s with the boot shown above.

Malaga boot sections sloped downwards toward the rear that's a b type rear end, would originally have had an ally panel as the boot lid. B+ had a boot lid like phaeton but not full width. Bonnet is later b type/b+, but these were often replaced due to damage - Pete brown has sold loads of b+bonnets abroad, over a hundred I think he said. As Daryl says the only to know for sure is a good look at the chassis.

that is a Malaga boot section though...Most of the B+'s had small boot lids (like the B Type).

the Chassis number would tie it down, the Malaga B+'s had chassis numbers that are M***B the B+'s are B***
