Rear Axle LSD Noise / Operation

Hi all, Duttons fine and I have the carb well setup.  However, I seem to be getting some grief from the rear end. The axle is of a 2.8i Capri so its got a LSD and it seemed OK when I removed the cover (was starting to leak through a rusty patch) and replaced it and the oil with LSD oil a couple of years ago.  The cars always been stiff to push backwards and forwards and on the road its fine driving.  However, when reversing or turning very sharp I get the impression that the axle is seized…See More

Welcome to the site, Barry. I'd love to see some pictures when you find out how to post them. I expect that changing the spark plus is easier on the Pinto but that the V8 sounds better. Is the V8 in the S1?
