"there is a huge difference between the different brands of flux cored welding wire....there is a cheap brand i bought that was almost impossible to get good results with unless you used LOTS of power......and blew holes in thin stuff....."

More progress on the Legerra re-build, A mate came round and did my brake lines for me in about a tenth of the time it would have taken me! then we took the Body down from it's sling in the garage and got it on the chassis, Needed to cut a section out of the bulkhead due to the Zetec Thermostat housing on the back of the head getting in the way.

I also needed to cut  away where the gear stick will be as my gearbox seems to sit a little too high, so i have a few bits of bodywork to…

Welcome to the group. I too have a Legerra and a Rickman Ranger, mine both have 2l Pintos and Type 9's. Post pictures of your Legerra when you get a chance. Best not to post pictures of the Rickman because the Dutton Sierra owners get very touchy!
