I'm guessing one of the 'cosmic' ranges but could be wrong.
Google "Search by Image" has come up with the goods - drag the image file into the search bar and it finds similar images.
White man's magic, I tell thee.
Anyway, apparently they're made by MAG Industries. Well, original ones are. These may be replicas. But for £40 I'm happy with that.
However, as they were made in all shapes and sizes it doesn't help me figure out what offset they are - might have to take a trip along with a straight edge, measuring tape and a calculator and do some sums...
0 offset up to 8 inches wide 'should' fit so a 4 inch backspace should in theory be ok.
Its all about the position in the wheel arch at the back though, and that can be rectified with spacers. Doesn't matter about the front as you will be fitting cycle guards :)
Have messaged the guy asking for the backspace measurement. Hopefully he'll come back with some sensible numbers.
With these and the alleycat-type things I'm ticking the right 1980s boxes - just need a set of slotmags and I'm set!
I'm sure Steve Kerry has a set of those sandblasted but not refinished....
He's measured the backspace at 85mm, but from the photo he sent me it looks like he's measured across the tyre sidewalls, so probably more like 80mm. And it's a 5" rim, so taking 125mm as wheel width / 2 = 62.5.
As backspace minus half-width = offset this gives us offset of 17.5mm.
As anything roughy 15-20mm is rear drive offset = I'm having them!
They may sit 'under' the back by quite a distance.
