Are there any rivet on chassis plates still available to buy? if so, who do I need to speak to?

Just found a Dutton VIN plate on this site ..... http://www.vin-plate.co.uk/iva_kit_car_plates.html 

Will wait to see if there are any at Stoneleigh.

This is the point where I run screaming and shouting to my mate at the DVLA.

Paul, i'm the chap you need to speak to and we only charge £4 and stamp your chassis number on it too. Mark is handing that part of his job onto me at Stoneleigh.

I can't see how that can be legal selling blank VIN plates, its a cloners paradise.

The requirements for a replacement VIN plate are:-

Club Membership

Copy of the V5C showing vehicle details 

Recent photo of car wearing correct number plate (circumstances allowing)

Cheque/postal order or paypal for £4 (non UK is more expensive)

Ha Ha, ok Ade, will pm you with chassis and engine numbers, I think you have them on file anyway.

I suppose its not breaking any laws selling them, you only break a law if you put a VIN plate on a car other than the one it is supposed to be on.

Either way all my details are correct and registered with DVLA, so we will be ok.
