Just a boy racer at hart arn't you.
midlife crisis
had me wondering there, humping the old boy! What are they for?
You want grills at the rear of the bonnet near the base of the windscreen to let air out, make sure the air coming in at the front goes through the rad not round it and put the battery in the boot, you'll just boil the battery acid with it right above the exhaust like that. How hot is it getting anyway, does it evaporate rain when your standing in a trafic jam when its raining? Always makes me smile watching the rain 'steam' on my MX5 bonnet lol
Its not a cooling issue, it's a breathing issue evidently. I would imagine that airflow into that corner is restricted purely on the grounds of it being in a corner. If I remember correctly there is a MAF sensor in the airbox. if not then I'd be tempted to try running it up minus that corrugated pipe just to see what happens.
If there is then consider relocating the airbox higher up on a bracket, just a thought.
