im thinking we should start our own group on face book. it never goes down. and we can all keep in touch much better.....what you guys think....?????

Because Facebook don't work for me, I'm happy here among those that help me when I'm in trouble, offering sound advice and encouragement. I will continue to offer help to those loyal friends. I cannot see any reason to split up a very good community, there already is a Facebook page, now I believe there are at least 3. I may start one myself, the Dutton Drivers Only site, I should get at least 6. Or I could post on the Duttonowners club message board, or resurrect the Mr.G site because I like that site. I think there is a blog page in the DOC as well. And so it goes on, let's reinvent the wheel, it'll all end in tears.

Yes I agree with you on all points, about this site and staying with it. I hardly ever post but visit every day and enjoy the info and banter.

I dont see what you gain?? facebook is dying, everyone knows its had its day, soon to start charging. Moving forward?? I think not.

Even though I use FB, I do not post too much, it is too intrusive.
This site as worked since 2008 and as been used every day without fail. That to me is a working site. The friends that have been made on here and the good friendly banter, have kept the Marque going over the doldrums of the DOC.
If your not happy it's your right to do what ever you like leave stay not an issue.
What I did have an issue with was the FB site stated (Formally Ning) this as now been changed.
