Regulation Rear View Mirrors
I have been told on here multiple times that the majority of rear view side mirrors fitted are next to useless, so I decided instead of fitting useless mirrors to the body, I would fit a removable one to the screen frame. This will satisfied Mr MOT inspector and give good vision for motorway driving etc.
Unfortunately if cant be used with the side screens, which is why it is easily removable, gave me an excuse to make another special bracket though

if you look at classic mini stuff. you can get a clip on side mirror :-)

That is the same as the bracket that came with my mirror, but it wont fit a Phaeton screen ..... so it required a Sheridan Special ;-))

lol sherry spesh. their is actually a clip on mirror. as in bull dog type clip. classic mini. they bring a few quid though. :-)

After seeing the issues rear view mirrors cause on Dave's S3 and whatnot, I'm tempted to weld some sort of ally fitting onto my screen frame and blend it all in along with mounts for the window panels / wind deflectors. You'll have to let me know what the optimum height is for that mirror after you've tried it for a bit..
