Mine stays logged in permanently but It's been quiet. According to DT we have used way more than our storage space allows so I'm not surprised it's slow to respond, doesn't explain the log in fails though Paul.

coincidentally I have just been reading a very long thread on the death of a forum, surf related. Seems they have fell on their swords and gone over to facebook. In the thread it mentions several car sites that are going the same way. They, the surfers, claim they cannot afford to keep up a website with dwindling members. So, its not just Dutton sites that are feeling the pinch. However someone is keeping a technical site open for the surfing guys because the facebook site is so fast that they lose any thing interesting pretty quick. So there you go :-)

That's one of the reasons why I have been trying to get hold of Mr G, to see if I can become an administrator on the site, There is so much information on there that could help new Dutton owners, but unless they register they can not ask questions.  And Mr G seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth! Last known location ..... Devon.

No one even seems to know his real name.

I talk to Andy Smith fairly regularly, i can ask him as he one of the site moderators....

I have already spoken to Andy, he is just down as a moderator and doesn't know Mr G either :-)))

he has been a member on this forum.....

He is an enigma, I worked out from the video's he posted, that he attended one or both the track days at Llandow 2005 or 2007, I asked  the guys I know who were also there if they knew him as Mr G or any other name, but drew a blank !

Mark would probably know, i'll email him :)

According to his profile, he has not logged on to the site since 25th July 2015.

Need to put a post up 'Who is Mr G' ? :)

In fact I did just that - LINK - Get on there Paul and put your name down... hopefully he will contact one of us.

TBH its time the club settled on just one good archival type of site (not unlike MrG's site....)

FB is ok.....but no good as a permanent resource. neither is this site.....

He lived Exeter way, I met him at a show.Nic Chick may know or Roger Barr, they were there too.
