Type 9 gearbox query
There is a plate on the side of the tail shaft on the type 9 which is supposed to have the '5th gear lockout pin and a spring' behind it.
Mine appears to be missing :-( I can probably source a replacement but what does it actually do and what happens if its missing.

Now I need to find one of those pin thingies as its holding up the rebuild.
Still, plenty more to do like wiring and brake lines while its dry outside.
