ECU very rearly go wrong, If attention is paid to conneting the terminals to the wires and the correct size wire used. It is a far more reliable system. After market ignition and fuel ecu is a good investment and must be far better than hacking about an old harness to use the original ecu. It not as comlicated as it seems.

At least you only have one ECU to mount, i've got to find somewhere to put the ignition and fuel ecu's!

You and me both John ;-)      I've just been for a little scoot up the A1 to Baldock,  to drop me scuttle clamps off to Doug Heath, who has a right nice little chrome plating works, in the industrial estate there.

And your only looking at the engine loom and rear loom there, I've yet to run the front loom. But its not as bad as it looks, there is a large percentage of the engine loom that will not be used on  this application, things like traction control, launch control, full rev gear change etc etc, and so those wires will just be insulated and neatly coiled out of the way.

The box in front of the main board is  a housing that takes 4 extra relays, the indicator and hazard warning relays are on the main board, this will house the relays for the head lights, wiper motor and starter button (by now you should know I have a thing about being neat and tidy, couldn't be doing with relays hanging about with wires plugged on to them)
