Timing belt and various other bits replaced, and scabbiest bits painted. Got exhaust, throttle cable, and a couple of hoses to refit and we're ready to go for a start. Then it's on to the chassis...

My Legerra has tent poles glassed in under the bonnet, in the boot and as a bonnet prop. If you don't find any I have a few spares.
only way to tell is a measure really, eyesight can be deceptive.
Hi Adrian - that's a good shout on the tent poles - might have to procure some. I'll wait and see who comes back from T in the Park with a fooked tent! I think it's just the angle as you say but I'll have a cross measure to check it.
It may just be the angle of the photo but the top shock mount on the off side appears to be further away from the camera.
I understand you are going to be a 'cone punisher' with this one Roy :) If I might suggest using old carbon or glassfibre tent poles inside the tip of that nose cone to beef it up a bit and to remove a bit of bonnet flex.
Not at all. Got the 205 for that... ha ha!
Honestly Martin I don't think the frame itself is too bad, but the suspension and brakes will have suffered from 3 years of being sat outside. Plus, as you can see, the steering geometry is a tiny wee touch out! Ha ha! There's an Autotest on July 26th - hope to have it running and driving before that. Will be a goood way of sussing out what needs done going forward.
