This guy is using a battery charger and washing soda. I'm keen to see how it turns out tomorrow, he reckons 12 hours at 2 amps.

Apart from doing electrolysis in chemistry at school, my knowledge of the process has all been gleaned from you tube videos. I also learned that 50/50 water and distilled whitre vinegar is good at resolving rust IF you leave it long enough (and were talking DAYS)
