ooo thanks paul. i was afraid that was the answer. gasp!!! you will all see them in about 10 years.....lol
Very Very large tin of elbow grease Brian. Several grades of wet and dry paper to get a smooth finish, then you can think about using the polishing mops to finish....... Unfortunately there is no magic solution for polishing aluminium, just hard graft.
bloody wheels. so cant buff ally to shine because sand blasting has left tiny pitting everyware....so whats my options guys......sand paper them smooth then buff....?
I also have a collection of about 8 grinders starting from the humble Dremell right up to the grand daddy of destruction....... the Stihl 14" petrol powered disc cutter with a 3mm metal cutting blade!! which will make very short work of cutting up an entire car so it fits in the back of one's van.
Think I have four, a small 4" ,a couple of 5" of both voltages, a 7" for sanding, and the trusty 9" for demolition of anything that gets in my way. Oh, that's 5. Plus a couple of air grinders, dye grinders etc. But no compressor, so chocolate teapots really.
