"I think i'm going to do the bottom links straight on mine and the top ones angled to clear the chassis rails like the originals. Are you not concerned about strength with the diagonal tubes removed where the links are attached?"

Phaeton S2 rebuild

Well the rear axle is now in ,however I need the get the chassis height  set up with blocks to get the top position for the shock absorber bracket ,I forgot to take the height of chassis before I took it apart so if anybody has an S2 Phaeton  on cart springs can you please post the road to chassis height on here please , At present the height is set at 125mm but  it means my link bars point downhill slightly …
