Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Sierra is getting closer, we could do with a weeks worth of good weather, and we'll turn the corner. James ordered to Poly bushes for the front end yesterday on E-bay from Flo-Flex, and they where delivered by 10 am this morning, now that service!!

We picked up an exhaust box at Stafford last week 2" in Twin 2" out, so exhaust will exit from both sides just in front of the rear wheels. Now looking for X-flow exhaust manifold 4-2-1

Want to meet me up the lockup tomorrow night Dave?

Fetch the good one with you and we can match part numbers to get it right.

Managed to get the rear brake pipes fitted on the Sierra tonight. Just need to pick up a rear brake drum from the parts dept at Ade's, then finish the wiring, I have got the first loom made and connected to the dash, and the cabling up the steering column.

I was thinking of bringing mohammed to the mountains rather than t'other way round. I can clear some space in the fish pond and I have a very large vice bolted down to the bench at the back, all the diffs and new bearings are here or in the lockup, so is my car and I've got space to get the back in the air. I'll give you a bell later as I got new shocks to fit...

i will speak to her indoors and see what she thinks, our ferry home is on sunday morning (24th) from Dunkirk at about 10 am i think, so a stop overnight in Calais might work out ok.

We'll be in Calais overnight if you fancy a brew.

We once followed the Sat nav and arrived in Paris at 4pm Friday afternoon, 12 miles later we stop at the services on the A10 4 hours later. Our route works out a little further but much easier.

we went from paris disneyland to rouen at 0830 on one of the hottest days of the year......we saw the tower over to our right, it was close enough. Traffic was a bit heavy and mental.

That is a good route, Rouen, Drueax & Evereux.  Last year when we delivered the in-law's camper van to the South of France, I opted for the Paris route using Sat Nav.  Got very close to a certain large tower.  I am glad it was Sunday morning as I would liked to have seen the traffic any heavier.

we will be on our way back the 23/24 and we will be likely staying in Le Touquet saturday night (23rd) perhaps we can bump into each other as we head north / south......looks like we will be the only ones in a Dutton.
