It has been declining for a few years, all the big shows have. It is down to costs for the punters, exhibitors and organisers alike, no one has much 'spare' cash for a weekend away these days.
more reason for kit car clubs to arrange their own low key shows, the larger ones have become less fun, once in, if your a member of a club, at some shows you were not allowed to leave whilst the show was open to the public prehaps we should start sounding out other car clubs to arrange week end drives and camp sites etc
At least they bailed early enough to let everyone know. We knew Exeter and Detling would go as the organiser announced he was retiring a couple of years ago, just after the demise of Stafford.
So, that leaves us with Stoneleigh and Donington at 'national' level, Goodwood if you are loaded or Le Mans if you are brave/stupid enough to drive that far.
Slightly gutted for the organisers after 31 years of shows though.
