One for the west country lads and those willing to travel a bit.
Castle Coombe race circuit, just like to good old days of donington, circuit access is available.
See below.
So what can I expect from KitFest?

Assuming i get through saturday ok, and i can get any reworking done, i expect to be there as long as nothing goes bang in between getting the car on the road and the Castle combe show.
I don't know James.
I have mentioned it in passing to Dave Taylor but I'm guessing he will be away that weekend however I could be wrong.
I've done 250 miles in one stint in the legerra before so Wiltshire doesn't scare me, I can see it being an issue for some of my fellow ND's.
I would suggest a convoy, meeting up at Knutsford services on the M6, and heading down the M6 then M5 etc, we can collect people en route but it'll be an early start unless we go down the night before.
Yes, that is a long way - far enough for the cars to become very uncomfortable or to breakdown. It is a similar distance for some in the South West and I don't suppose it is much less from Brighton. Not really a very good location.
I thought that at first James but for anyone south of Manchester it's actually not all that bad. Donington is 105 miles from my doorstep, Stoneleigh is further (just) but for the guys like Steve K and Nick Carlin its a monstrous distance to either, makes Castle Coombe seem like just up the road.
for me castle combe i would guess about the 3 hour mark, its 2 hours from here to Swindon ,if the M25 isnt snarled up, stoneliegh for me is 3 hours 15 mins according to the maps, its 171 miles luckily its all motorway once i get to the M25.
i must admit steve that if i do drive up, then i would prefer to avoid the m25/m40 but its hard finding a suitable A,or B road,i have been looking at possible routes because im thinking on taking a slow drive up Saturday evening
Martin, you can go along the south coast, through Salisbury then on to Warminster and pick up the A350 to Chippenham. It is shorter than the motorway but slower. That way you can limit yourself to 50mph. There is a short section of motorway near Fareham and Southampton but the rest of the road looks fine.
Thanks James, but i was actually talking about Stoneleigh, by the time Castle Combe comes round, i would have had hopefully 2 months of driving the Melos around, and have will have no problems with taking it via the motorway, as i intend to stop off at Swindon , either going or most likily on the way back
I find that my exhaust is okay on A roads but it is just a tiresome drone on the motorway. So for you it is the A38 to Exeter, The A30 and A303 until you meet the A350 which you follow to Chippenham. That way you avoid all the motorway and you miss Bristol by a wide margin. It is a little slower than the motorway but a much nicer drive.
You are probably right, Daryl. Or I might be right behind you ... on a tow rope.
The BKCC say that we can park up with them if we want.
