Afternoon all. Just thought I'd start a thread about the stoneleigh show, whos going, is there an official dutton stand, are people camping, when is the "sound off"? etc

I don't think that db work like that because it is a logarithmic scale, so doubling the volume (i.e. adding your other 3 cylinders) only adds 3db! But aren't we also judging how good it sounds?

im only a skinny guy,  i can fit in a melos seat,so a S4 is the same size,  Ade has offered  subject to him being able to get away from the showground to pick me up,

I can bring a second laptop, speakers etc. I don't currently have a microphone that won't distort at that sound level but I'm working on that. 

I do use an HD camcorder however its tape and would then need to be captured onto the laptop manually which is a shed load of faffing about. I'll check the sound quality on some of the other av kit in the box.
