hi guys. i am wanting to polish the outer rim of my alloys. to a chrome like finish. iv had good results with autosol and dremel. however its not quite getting their. so iv been told to get a 3 stage alloy polishing kit. i wondered if anyone has one or can reccomend one to me, loads on ebay. just dont want to buy rubbish...lol thanks gents

Polyurethane not Cellulose.
By choice i'd powder coat but that can't be done practically with aerosols at home.
powder coat dosent really have that pollished shine though. i need the shine lol.
I had a set of diamond cut RS 4 spokes that had been powder coated back in the late 90's for my Anglia, then transferred to my Legerra which unfortunately caught light due to a misplaced firework then onto the black spares car and finally back into the garage for a 'refurb' 18 years later. One is still mint the rest have suffered especially after the fire. The mint one is still perfect.
I do however understand what you mean, that slightly 'blue' colouring to the ally when you get it REALLY smooth and shiny. I have a set of 7 spoke 100+ 15's which I will be doing with the pillar drill as an experiment. I'll put the results up before they get coated, you can make your own minds up. At the moment they look like this.
