Clocks sprung forward, the weather sprung back, tipping it down, blowing a hoolie and cold, could it be Easter is coming, all the campers are getting excited at pitching in the rain etc. I want to blast about in the B+. Looks like a day in the cave.

Cracking morning (again) and my knee is looser then it's been, so I'm off for a good walk then play with the B+, I hope :-)
Cracking day, followed by a trip out over Dartmoor in the Sierra to watch the Rugby in a pub (only 8 of us there) back to a neighbours for a celebration BBQ, Welsh lamb and Cornish beer, think I better go for a lay down I've got to excited, plus my knee has started to bend hence mend, :-)))
Another cracking morning, been out loosening the joints (mine) and hope to finally get this back axle out of the B+. Funny how it becomes sunny when I'm in the dark recess of the cave :-)) Time for breakies !
Well, a cracking start to Easter. Took the Marlin to Dartmouth. The V8 burbling along through the lanes, pit stop at Slapton for lunch. Pushed on a bit coming back and watched the fuel gauge zoom towards E.
im so gelous didnt get melos ready for easter as iv been down with flue all week. bugger. bit thirsty then steve ?
About 8-10 mpg on the way home ! But it was quick :-))
iv come to the conclusion it doesnt really matter what it costs in fuel. as long as you enjoy it. afterall its not like we have to use these cars for everyday use. thats why i have my million miles to the gallon pug lol
Just topped up with fuel, the tank is smaller than I thought, so now I estimate 15-18 mpg. It's on 2" S.U carbs and 3.9 cam. Gearing is a bit low, back axle, but, it certainly flies when you stir the stick :-))
thats not bad i cant imagine i get much more from the old crossflow. with twin choke web.
Seeing as the weather was nice, I took Legerra for a little run around the area. That was the first time that I have managed to take it out since about October. It needed a new battery as the old one wouldn't hold charge when I tried recharging it. I managed to give it a good blast but it still feels a little hesitant when I stamp the pedal.
I didn't want to take it far in case it let me down. Plus the main roads were blocked with holiday traffic. The M4 and M5 were stop-go and then traffic fills all of the other routes. If I had needed the RAC then I might have been waiting hours.
That would be a present from us Northeners, welcome to our world :)
Seriously though, we had it too. I drove across to see Dave today and the weather really was patchy, glorious sunshine and then black skies and hail / snow...
Me....I am on holiday this week and didn't want it. ....thought you might..☺☺
