my spacers extended wheel studs are here going on the rear of the melos tmz. after iv done the brakes. cant wait to see how she corners after this little mod.

Last time I used these I had to extract the half shaft to get them in. Once the drum goes on put a sleeve over the smooth bit of the stud, I used a small bit of heat shrink tubing. This takes out the little bit of slack that allows these to move slightly off centre. I was just being fussy but as the hole in the middle is bigger than the ford fitting they will not self centre.

thanks for that ade. i will, extra inch either side should give the melos a much fatter stance.

wheel spacers fitted. 20mm each side front.......32mm each side back. melos has a much fatter stance now. wonder what the cornering will be like...:-)

if i need a tool i will buy it......im a tool freak i just love buying them. got some new nut splitters this week. cant wait to try them on daryls thumbs :-)

I love buying tools too. I think that I prefer to buy them than to actually use them! When you have tools then you have power over the environment,  the power to do whatever you want, you can face any problem with confidence.

Unfortunately, using them often just shows my other inadequacies, so best just to keep them in their boxes!
