are the legendery barnsley chop. best of the best. :-) where you have that paul..?

ok axle came off mk2 escort van :-)))

That's interesting, escort van, should accelerate well :-))

hope so thats where the anti role bar has come from i  think. ???

Measure the drums, should be 8" or 9" if newer model.

All Escort/Cortina/Capri had either 8" or 9" depending on model variant, the brakes won't identify much. Axle width will norrow it down a bit. It does seem likely that Escort van (especially 10cwt) could have had a rear ARB. The mk3 escort van did I think on all variants.

internal its 227mm in new money :-)

8.93701 inches...

9 inch drums ... 228.6mm

Self (not) adjusting snail thingy can be accessed via a hole in the front face of the drum. There are also two widths of 9 inch drums... some of the capri's had wider shoes..

finally stopped raining . got some more work done on the sierra. rear brakes rebuilt, all axle repainted. rear chassis repainted. and rear under floor repainted.

finally the underbody is done. wire brushed back. 2 cotes hamerite then 1 cote of hamerite underbody. just working on the headlights and bowls now. :-)

side inpact bars came up really good too.
