S1 Rebuild(s)
some pics of the rebuild process,
the top trailing arm bracket is broke......
the diff is sloping back a little (looking up) so that will need sorting.......
As you can see there isn't a lot of bracing in an S1 chassis, that will be sorted.

That is not a boss, its a spacer, fits between the boss and the wheel. Don't think that'll work.

And one of these will solve the PCD issue, I have a steel one, just a circular flat plate but it works.
All the wheels in the stores are mountney or Astrali (101mmPCD) apart from one which is really odd. Its an 'Indianapolis' which has a 6 bolt fitting but they aren't symmetrical. This has an adapter which enables it to be fitted to a 70mm PCD boss. Problem is all these adapters add depth to the boss same as a quick release so you really need a shallow boss fitting or the wheel's going to be in your face.

my spare 13" steering wheel was a bit shallower than the rest........and the indicator stalk was bent a bit.....not perfect but a decent compromise.

i need a good leather dye...the steering wheel is faded and a little scruffy....anyone got any recommendations?

What colour you want to make it Dave? I have a red mountney with a red centre pad., low dish 4 spoke very much like the one in the photo.
I can also re-skin wheels cheap (dependant on colour required) and in nice thick leather too. Sure beats shoe dye.
This is mini astro black metallic spokes and black leather.
