The Peugeot, assuming it was the 156PS version, has nearly twice the power but it also has at least twice the weight. I bet his car cost more than twice yours!

Yep, I managed a blast in the Phaeton for a couple of hours, huge grins all round and made a list of things to tinker with to make it better. Need to secure the rear of the front wheel arches as they start to move out from the side panels at speed. Some Velcro to hold the passenger seat cushion in place when there are no buttocks to hold it down!! dam near lost it over the roll bar twice :-)))
But what great fun.
lol i think when these duttons are built properly they can be amassing......:-)
dont happen on a melos :-)))))))))))))))))
I went to "Wadebridge Wheels" 2000 cars mostly classics, a few yanks and customs, and a few performance super cars. Due to my wife still not 100% we went in air conditioned luxury, we took the Saab. Just as well, in the heat she flagged a bit and was glad to get back in the car. Met up with Nick Carlin, he showed his Legerra and some interesting race kits in his club, met an old friend who has done a nut and bolt rebuild of a V12 E type, cost? a cool £17000 ! but don't tell his wife :-)) Picked up information on loads of events in Devon and Cornwall for the next few months, so hope to attend a few with the Duttons.
