some pics of the rebuild process,

the top trailing arm bracket is broke......

the diff is sloping back a little (looking up) so that will need sorting.......

As you can see there isn't a lot of bracing in an S1 chassis, that will be sorted.

That is now a "Ghia" looking good Dave

Looks very nice

very good sir

Thanks....I am quite pleased with it........

posted all my paper work off to DVLA.........it came back unopened.......sent it again......back again......

so today its getting posted by registered post......

it seems that the post office dont like the fact that the address and stamps are on the reverse of the envelope and not on the front.......IDIOTS.

I am missing the hood frame for my car, any one got one they dont need please?

also the lift off hinges for the doors, where can i get some? ebay is not being helpful today........

Car Builder Solutions for the hinges Dave .... Stainless no less ;-))

cheers i will try them.......

ordered some lift off hinges Sunday night.....they arrived today very impressed... they were quoted at £1.90 a pair.......so i ordered 4 pair.........two each door.

well they really meant "a pair" so i have a total of 8 door hinges...... all for a cost of £9 delivered....

Nickel plated but who cares? they will do the job for years.

I have been a bit busy lately...

It's Nissan 526 Red...same colour as my old Malaga B+.

Not a bad colour........

And even though I had some mirrors....I have bought some more.

love the colour dave

I love the colour too. It's a proper 'notice-me' colour, like a fire engine. Might help ambulances see you next time.
