I've redone all the Earth's and changed the flasher unit. I don't no if anybody has had the same issue. But I need it sorted for mot. Can anybody help please :'(:'(:'(. I'm not that clued up with electronics.

What stalk do you have on the column? Mk1 (single stalk) or mk2 (triple stalk)

I can't do wiring diagrams on here but it should go something like.

IGN ON POWER - FUSE BOX - FLASHER RELAY - INPUT TO STALK - L/OFF/R SWITCH - OUTPUT TO LEFT SIDE or OUTPUT TO RIGHT SIDE

If one of the outputs and the input are crossed over it will act up

It's the single stalk pal of the early mk1 buddy.

change your relay

I have mate I've had three different ones in there. I've spent my wheel budget on relays lol

I had similar issues on my triple stalk, would blow fuses constantly....... turned out to be the stalk itself

Ahh that makes sense as I've have replace all earths on the car. I've done a continouity test rite through the car and all seems well. I'll have a look at the stalk tomorrow night. Thanks
