Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Morning all, been a while since I've popped in here!

Right. My S3's currently rocking a CVH and an MT75 gearbox. I've been considering an engine upgrade for a while and have waited patiently for a 2.0 Focus or Mondeo with a good engine to drop into my lap, but none have been forthcoming!

In the meantime, I've been accumulating spare 1.7 Puma parts, including engines, looms etc for another conversion project.

I've ascertained that there's no available bellhousing to fit the Puma lump to the MT75 box, and I really don't want to go to a type-9 just because I can get a bellhousing.

So. Adaptor plates. Anyone ever made one? Hint / tips / thoughts?

If it was me I would rid of the mt75 and go down the rx8 box route. The money you get for your mt75 will pay for the conversion. Rx8 5 or 6 speed boxes are cheap as chips and readily available adaptor plates are easy to get. For the zetec. Not sure about the puma engine but I don't like any engine with nicasil liners. But that's just me lol. I would wait for a zetec.

How far are you from Stonehaven ?
