Hotel booked for the 3rd Annual Northern Duttoneers Lakes Tour

The 3rd Annual Lakes tour will take place on 31st March - 1st April 2012. The hotel is booked, if you would like to meet up, or take part you're more than welcome, but you will need to sort your own overnight accommodation out, as we have all rooms booked at the guest house we use, but there are plenty more in the area, if you contact me Here for details of the area of our overnight stop.

Our plan this year is to take the coast roads from Carnforth up to the Lakes on the Saturday, on Sunday we follow the high passes upto Borrowdale and afternoon tea at Lodore Falls Hotel. Then onto the North of the National park before turning for home, taking in Windermere, Bowness on the way.

There will be plenty of tea and cake on the way, and we may even find a pork pie for Steve H.

I hope they have filled some of the ravines on the high passes this year, making the duttonettes scream as we went up the hill could possibly have been a tour highlight in 2009.
