he,s a dealer ......
Even dealers have to get out and play Mike. (that sounds bad, no pun intended..)
Worst possible case scenario is he bought it to make a profit on, he ain't gonna make much profit without a chassis.
Is Tom getting royalties for being in the add?
I was just thinking this Dave, BLMH make repro bodyshells for mini, mgb etc
They arn't original manufacturer but are accepted by DVLA.
i once tried to weld a repair patch to a lada chassis,, only to find that it had been repaired before with a lenth of 2 by 2
it had passed two previus mot,s like that ,,,
2 by 2 probably stronger than any metal left on a Lada over 2 years old anyway, certainly than th e 3 Niva's I owned
steve how do you sleep at night..... ;-)
A second hand chassis from an 'unregistered' car has no vehicle identity and is therefore a 'replacement' to the manufacturers original designs. Making it yourself is not accepted as manufacturers original. Type approval has probably been given for those MGB and Mini shells Vern as they are mass produced.
i know that Ade ;-) doh!
it goes to show how loonie our system really is
Play the system and win.
Heritage panels are hardly mass producers or the original manufacturer. So is it replacement to manufacturers original designs/drawings or an actual part produced by the manufacturer?
