Ebay Sellers Tricks

I decided to bid on an item on ebay, set up a snipe on goofbid sat back to watch the auction end, only to see it ended by the seller with 30 seconds to go, well under the price I had put in as a top bid and the listing now displays as item was ended because the item was sold.

Now of course he could have pulled the auction for genuine reasons at any time in the last 7 days however why wait until there is 30 seconds left....being the sceptic I am I think he pulled it as it wasn't reaching the price he had hoped to get. 

He has another item ending in about ten minutes, also with a snipe set so lets see what happens to that one.

I've seen this happen loads of times. eBay say you can't pull it within the last 12hrs but loads do. Expect to see it re-listed in a few days. As Ade says probably wasn't making a good enough price

It was pulled at 28 seconds... I was watching the timer count down. I had goofbid set to £25, it was just for spares.

I've never tried to pull an item so have no idea if its actually possible, if the item is listed as a best offer then I know accepting the offer would end the listing.
