Hi chaps,

I've just bought a pair of compression struts for the front of my Escort-based S3 Phaeton.

For those of you who have done this conversion, do you just bin the ARB altogether, or have you modified it with drop links and retained it for use as a pure anti-roll device now that it doesn't control axle location?

Thoughts?

springs....... i can say from experience that most folks over spring their cars....my cars have all been too stiff at first. the fronts have ended up at about 180lb/in springs and the rears at about 130lb/in (rears pre-loaded to about 200lb) the transformation in handling was startling. the cars went from skittish to firmly glued to the road!
