Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

With the National Kit Car Show (and the DOC AGM) less than a fortnight away, then I am starting to think about everything that I need to get ready. Obviously I need to drive the Legerra a bit to make sure that everything is in good shape for the journey, but what else?

I am intending to go on the Saturday and camp. I'm not sure if I will stay there for the full two days of the show (Sunday and Monday), that might depend on the weather. I have not slept in a tent this century, so it will be a novelty.

Who else is going? Who else is camping? What are the facilities like? Will I need to take a kettle? Any advice would be welcome.

Hi where is stoneleigh ? Please
Kenilworth, Warkrickshire

134 miles down the M1 Andy.

From where you are Andy its M62, M1, M69....I prefer the M69 as its quieter than the 42.

Sorry for the hijack James.

So anyone coming down from the North West? Suggested meeting places? Knutsford? Lymn? Haydock?

If the Warrington lads want to come down with us then I reckon pick em up at Knutsford....

No hijack, that's on topic.

So, back home now and once again the Sierra tanked it. I appear to have come back with more than I took down and didn't buy anything, didn't even go to the 'shops'. hey ho...

120+ miles each way @65mph in a tractor, with no sleep last night due to paperwork needing to be finished I am cream crackered. Nice to see everybody though.

Time to finish me brew and get my head down, night all.

Wow, hopefully the brew did its job. Did you attend Stoneleigh today, too?

For me, Stoneleigh was great. It was very nice to get known to some faces of you gents! Also, it was a pleasure to see more than Dutton at once.

We arrived at 12:00 am British time at home after a total of 1600 miles - incredible. Had a lot of luck with traffic and the weather. Now, I own a real pheaton shell . Cheers Ade!

Good Job. I don't think that will be beaten as a parts collection EVER. Epic trip, now go build an epic car Patrick.

So will you guys be there again this year with the pitch and stuff as last year?

Two small impression from the event.

danny. and jane  :-)
