Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Off topic but, betting its a subject close to most of our hart's.    What ever happened to the old fashioned rectangular pies, either steak & kidney or Chicken & mushroom, that used to be sold in most chippy's and pubs. Remember the ones?  ones you could take out of their foil tray and eat with out tools or with out them falling to bits in your hand!!!

All you can get round our way now are these Pukka pies (spits in discust)   impossible to eat with out falling to bits and burning your fingers

State your favorite pie and pint .......

Steve can't agree with you more, can't beat a propper cornish pasty,  My brother lived in Lisgard for a couple of years, and i spent a very nice 2 weeks down there one year, they had a local woman who used to make them, never had anything as good since,  even the west cornwall ones don't come close.

best pint, theres been so many,  but i would say Old speckled hen,   had a very nice pint of that the other day.

I thought you Devon boys drank Scrumpy? when i was in Cornwall, I was introduced to the local pubs landords home made mead wine, and home brew, Never again, , i had never been so drunk in my life as i was that night, we ( my brother and i) staggered home at 7am. his wife, just laughed at us.
