Hi folks here is the progress so far and some observations on work to be done...

getting to this part was the hard part, i really didn't want to strip my car down....

but i am glad i decided to, the interior body tub was held in place by a total of 6 pop rivets!

That angle iron under the gear box (about 10mm thick!) has 4 bolts holding it in to the car and it has the gearbox mount on it.....it is also is too low so the whole engine and gearbox slope down to the rear...and the prop also slopes down to the gearbox....not good. So a new properly positioned gearbox mount is on the list

i am thinking that the boot section isn't likely to held on any better so that will be next.

I fear that, as with all of our projects, the more you look......the more you find Dave. At least you are under way now.  Keep the pics coming mate.
