Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Can someone send / post some pictures of thier seating arrangements.

I have an S2 with the cortina leaf spring arrangement , the spring hangers are in the in the car and hence the space for a seat is restricted. When i put my kit car seats in using some wood (to clear the sring hanger) i am too high, therefore i need to make some seats to get me as low as possible.

Any help would be appreciated as i am in full on Dutton mood at the moment.

Cheers

Neil

An inherent problem with the S2 mate. The only real solution is to use seat cushions, similar to the originals. The problem is that you end up with a whopping bruise on your thigh :-( I still have the original cushion set for mine as supplied by the factory, should you need dimensions to make a set.

would be great if you email the dimensions , will have a go this weekend. what a poxy design

Lose some weight! LOSE SOME BL**DY WEIGHT!!!! as long as there is an abundance of disreputable drinking establishments in my neck of the woods, there is no chance of that. So the next best thing was to modify the S2 .

Neil I will take some pictures tomorrow and give you the dimensions of the seat squabs.

my wfie suggested i lose one buttock , maybe this is what i need to do lol

Seat Squabs :- 330mm width, 415mm length, 100mm thick.

Back Squab :-  870mm width, 440 height, 55mm thick, 330mm either side of the trans tunnel
