All I could find was this and I think I posted it before.

No sign of any mystery valve :)

Blocked flexi's oh yes, replacements available in both rubber and braided (I can't yet get cheap braided ones sadly)

I'll have a look for a better diagram after tea.

iv got some hoses ade. thanks ...check pic.

i think it may be to relese trapped air ...come on dutton boffins :-))))

look  the pic i posted its right at the highest point daryl

So it sits in the front reservoir (or just below it in the top of the cylinder) with no retaining devices, pressure springs, circlips or anything... How Odd. I would assume it is to assist with fluid levels or bleeding in some way but honestly haven't met one before.

strange. ill find out what it does. im dying to know :-)

very hot and still today so i painted the sierra bumper and grill. bit patchy where number plate covers. but not bad for rattle can painting.  :-)

Aye, not bad for a rattle can.

I'd like to know what indicators fit exactly into that corner shape. Must be one somewhere.....

didnt mk3 escort have something like that cheers

could it be this

I originally thought it could have been one of these upside down.

But I had a couple of old ones and they didn't fit.

(Cortina mk5)

I reckon the mk3 escort ones would fit but the moulding would have to be altered.
