Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

I spent all day yesterday getting a set of Toyo Proxes R888R's fitted to my 13" Cobra wheels and then getting them on the car. Lots of wheels on/wheels off trying to get the spacers right to clear bodywork, chassis and suspension. I'm happy with the results (except for my aches) but I'm kicking myself that I didn't clean up the wheels first.

New Toyo tyres are unidirectional, looks odd and I believe they make a noise. As James says inner and outer is the thing.

That was what I wondered but they are all the same and there is no direction marked on them, only INSIDE and OUTSIDE. There are these side markings...

I can't find anything online which says that they are unidirectional and I could not see any other-handed ones on sale, so I suppose that is how they are meant to be.

Is that on back to front?, thought 888's were directional?
