Stephen you have vey sharp eyes the carbs should be 1 1/4 SUs on the original  948 or 1098 engines i am running a 1275 and fitted a 45 dcoe on a tiny custom manifold. Its the only thing i changed oh and the wheels, its on Dulop SPs instead of cosmics. I would like it back on cosmics though.

Yes thats KPX from the original press photo low and rakish on lovely cosmics. The picture that set me off.
