Today Christmas came early for one Northern Duttoneer, Steve Kerry received an early present from his wife Kath.

The best kept secret in the North, the logistics of buying the car, getting the engine swapped, and collecting it from the other side of the Pennines.

Steve hadn't a clue and as you can see from the photos. A big thanks from Kath to Ade, Steve Heap and everyone who kept Stum.

Steve recently had to sell his Phaeton after 4 years work because of redundancy, and no time to finish the rebuild. The car was bought by previous owner for the 1700 Vulcan eng to put in a Mk1 Escort Mexico lookalike, got an engine swap done and thankfully saved it from the scrap men.

It now has a good home here in Bolton.
