It has a little less power now Richard, but not a bad transplant. It's new owner is very pleased with it, and I'm sure we'll be seeing news of it's progress over coming months. Very impressed with the complete history of the car.

It was bought for the engine which was removed and replaced with a 1300. Now it's back 'in the fold' i'm sure it will be back to normal shortly.

That car looks familiar. I thought that Steve Hayward sold it in October. Where has it been since then? And I don't think I understood about the engine change - It used to have a 1600/1700 X flow when Steve had it, what has it got now? Why was it on the other side of the Pennines when it used to be down on the South Coast? This is all too confusing for me, my head hurts!
