Not to bad really, a little red in places. It was a cracking day, we got set up and sorted when the judging started with Kit Car and Customs first up, I wasn't going to go to the arena because of my paint problems, but the guy on the mic in the arena call out for the Duttoneers to be first in, So be rude not to go. after the judging we were beaten by a Consul 375 running a FORD 302 cu motor, it sound good and like the nuts. The guy said we could come back in with the sports cars, and called over again when the judging started.

Sorry you missed it.

Made a nice change to have a sunny day i'll bet. Sorry we missed it but the leggy wasn't up to being out in public and we were in herefordshire.

So, who's got sunburn then?

The sun shone, the cars turned up and the Northern Duttoneers do what we do well.

This is our local show, always a good turn out from early motoring to modern day classics. It's a great setting in the grounds of Hoghton Tower Stately Home.

Only Ade and Sue missing this year. Although mine and Steve were the only Duttons, we Had Martin and Karen with their Westfield. All across the show ground different groups had kit cars with them, from JBA's, Caterham, Marlin, Lomax and a few specials.

We had the usual fry up in the morning, and burgers, sausage for lunch, Oh! and cake ( well wouldn't be TND outing without Cake).

The Auto jumble is not bad, usual sort of stuff nobody wants, always the odd bargain to be had, I bought a Draper engine stand for £5 because it had a missing wheel. I sell wheels so result, also picked up a gear stick to Hand brake lock £2 and brand new Haynes Mk1 67-75 Escort manual 50p. Good job our James came in the afternoon with his van otherwise Marian would have complained all the way home with an engine stand on her knee for 20 miles.

Not show is in August down Cheshire way, checkout our website for details.
