Almost as good as this project :-)

I know its not what you want BV but I have a near full set of S2 outer panels (no scuttle) and a full set of used panels. Both are serviceable although a long way from perfect.

@Ade, talked to Pete Brown some years ago about full set of phaeton 1 bodywork but the quality from the tired moulds is poor and would need a lot of work and then need to be painted, it didn't work for me then and still doesn't. £1500+ for just the plastic and paint. At least the hsr7 body would resurrect BVY in some form.

@daryl Heasman, Agree witrh you on the big healey - have you seen the price of those these days, very envious of friend and co-worker whose mum gave him her '65 3000 :-\

I think, although not certain, that Rob Saul has them now. I'm sure he will pop up to confirm / deny as applicable.

The Legerra moulds were also destroyed by all accounts :(

Sierra moulds last heard of somewhere in Cheshire?

I'm pretty sure Pete Brown still has moulds for many of the Phaeton panels – and a few others (sadly the Melos body was lost). There will come a time when people will wish more of these cars had been saved I think.

I rather like those Healey bodies too. I also saw this a little while back ...

but after counting the brick pavers, I decided that the wheelbase is only 68", whereas we are looking for about 86". Pity.

One of the reasons I started the 'stockpile' of unwanted bits was to be able to help with damage to bodywork, in fact it's sorted out more than one person by getting required body bits....Sounds a bit sketchy that...

Speaking of which, I need an S3, S4 or P21 bonnet please...

Ade, the limiting factor for restoring the older Duttons is the bodywork. If its short or non-existant then there's no hope. Fortunately Paul looks to have salvageable bodywork with that one. I suppose I could always through one of these over my Phaeton S1 chassis but then I suspect I'd get hate mail lol.

Yep! :) Going to take a very similar approach to this as with my Melos – a kind of period restoration where possible. It's got a good crossflow in it but jury is out on whether I'll keep that...
