I was obliged to get rid of both of my last bikes (BMW R80T and XS 250 Yamaha)  as they were too draughty and cold to ride on so i was allowed to get my Phaeton. (she liked my Malaga B+)

Truth be told, one of the reasons the bike had to go was because of a rather nasty spill on the A303, luckily the only permanent damage now remaining is a few  scars on my arms where the lining of the leathers melted onto my skin!!  But still have to have a toy that will put the same sort of grin on me mush.... must work harder to get the Phaeton on the road.

not sure a bantam would move with me on it! yeah its a bugger that tarmac. i generally try and stay off of it other than knees but that near impossible as all the roads are full of pot holes!

I'm rather lucky. I had road bike for years and bought race bike soon after for a song. The Phaethon is my joint engagement and birthday pressie so am certainly spoilt for choice.

I can upload a few pics is like???

Danny Boy, has to be off the line over top speed every time for me. my other bad habit (ok i have loads) but another way i spend time is up at the pod or north weld drag racing my bike! so much fun as well doing a little vessel of the lights! mmmmmmmmmwahahahahahaha.

morning Guys,

the locost barrow is optional extra you know!

Cheer mike for advise, engine luckily came with one but not got round to checking it over yet.

getting crank checked for straightness then refit with all new bearings. getting new performance cam. when can afford it will be getting heads swapped for unleaded stage 3. put back together with new timing gears and that about it in a nut shell. still want atlas axle and type nine box!

You'd have been better using a plastic barrow, less weight it'll go faster.
