i have two standard performance exhausts for the 2.0 Pinto engines one a bit battered from a pranged F2 BRISCA car and a new 4-1 manifold for a standard car which i am tempted to cannibalise.....
Hello Dave and Daryl,
the construction of my first exhaust manifold, I've learned a lot about the decline of steel.
-------> The shrinkage is greater than the heating. <------ Very important!
Adjust the bends in the car and then welding point. (always opposite)
then the exhaust manifold on a suitable steel plate (30mm thick) mount. Can be welded on all sides.
Before dismantling, heat the manifold completely red hot.
The tensions go out.
The exhaust manifold which I have built is no built in power. Since my very little space was available. But aseverything fits under the hood. ;-)
learning by doing.......
Tom
I like the exhaust manifold Tom......send me one for my car.. ;-)
What a bummer. Now I've written so much and images used .... and the text has not been transmitted completely ....grrrrrrrrrrrr
So much honor ..... I'm still red
and now I am struggling with the Google translator and my modest knowledge of English to ..... I hope to be understood to some sense and respond properly .... after 14 houres Dutton working in my Workshop.
cheers ... on my right side the first beer to night/morning and to the left the cigarett...
The Malaga is running again
.... but.....
Today I had to learn again .... Man does not always think of everything .... after I was of the opinion that everything is put together. I start the engine ... and what shall I say to you .... I forgot to mount the oil cooler. What a mess .... One liter of oil on the floor .... shit happens... too long once worked .... ;-)
But now to business
After four hours measure with spirit level and profile tubes for the future third Dutton.
Setting the rear axle and measure the front axle. I hope that the car will be normal again on the road traveling.
As you can see, the front wheels after 2500 miles
