I will see if I have a close up shot of my 5 link brackets and if not will get under the spares car as the back bumper is already off.

Looks to be a good project, it's in a better state than the Sierra was. Like you say there's a good many hour ahead, but well worth it in the end. Good luck

Yes the dash is ripe for a full make over, i would like to loss the centre consule. I dont know what engine was in it looking at the engine mounts I think it could have been an X flow. Dont like the heater set up much and by the rust marking under it I would say its shot [looks butchered too], may go down the mini path like my pheaton. The bonnet is fly away at the moment no catch no hinge pins just sits there, the body is not bolted on but is in the right place +/- 10mm looking at bolting down fixings, the back axle is way out its not got the correct dutton 5 link fixings on axle case just bodged ones to allow chassie to roll. I assume they should be the same as the ones on my pheaton ?. Many happy hours to look forward to I am sure but I am looking forward to getting started.

Its in better nick than mine was.
First observations, body looks too far forward, is it bolted down to the chassis?
Are those 13" Firestones... if so I have a spare tyre you can have next time I come down that way.
I can see the dash getting ripped out and started again...lol.
Bonnet catch is interesting, i ended up using 2 locks and a dzus fastner and it still lifts. when I get to 80..
It looks like a good base to start from. Did you say it used to be a x flow lump?
