tbh. the sierra chassis looks really strong compaired to the melos. big chunks of steel :-)

I'm not saying its right Graham, just the 'way they were'.

To be honest all dutton chassis could do with a little bracing here and there.

The Sierra has a 'strut brace' across the back of the engine bay connecting the two towers.
