If you tried that it would be a nightmare. Proving the age of the donor vehicle would be easy but proving it was a kit when it was exported is a whole new ball game. It would work out cheaper to buy one of ebay, use it for X months then sell it on. (or rent one )

Weirdly if you were ever likely to bring the car over here it would likely need re-registration as that number will likely be deleted. .

Nope, Not even close. lol, I still have the original rear English plate in storage in case we ever come over there.

Nope, never a comment on the English front plate. I do have a Florida rear plate. Florida does not require a front plate so I have kept the original plate on the front.
