2016 Events

Looking into 2016, I am intending to organize a fun weekend of camping, socialising and racing (optional) at Santa Pod Raceway in Bedfordshire. The aim is to get as many Duttons as we can  from across the country  to join in.

I know it is a logistical nightmare as some of you will have to come a very long way ...... see below.  But given that we all have a common love for our cars, it would be great to get us all together for some fun  ( WITH NO FEKIN POLITICS ) 

Hopefully you will all embrace this idea and we can get if off the ground ...... or up the track ;-)))

Once I know what sort of response we have to the idea,  I will then put forward some dates and look at it seriously.

weirdly my wife wants to go to santa pod to see some drag racing......i never signed up because i dont know if my car will be finished or not. this year i am not in any rush...... it is hard work putting a car together.

Hello guys 
I am afraid that due to the lack of interest in this event, it will not be going ahead. I have another function on that weekend that I can commit to and so am not prepared to hang around any longer. 
Tis a shame, but not unexpected. 
Thank you to those of you who were prepared to support me and I am sorry it wont go ahead.

We still only have four definite commitments for this event. The pitch requires we have 10 cars, I cant book on people saying maybe ........... So unless you all bound forth with some enthusiasm, it aint gonna happen!

NUDGE NUDGE,    Its badgering time for a commitment for this event.      NUDGE NUDGE.                                So far I have 3 deffo's and 6 maybe's ...................... You can just come on the Sunday if you wish.

James, I could produce a compliment slip sized flyer which shouldn't weigh much. How many magazines are going out?

Sorry, I wasn't paying attention.

As it happens, I sent my PDF to the printers last night for them to check the format. I haven't heard back from them about it today and I could make some changes but the magazine is pretty tight for space. At this stage, I'd prefer to add a separate flyer slipped into the magazine, if it doesn't take us over the weight limit for 2nd class mail.
